How we help with your application

1

Send us the site

Photos, rough measurements and the equipment fall heights. A site measure is free for school and kinder projects.

2

Get an itemised quote

Area, depth for each zone, rubber type, base prep, edging, and access, all on separate lines so assessors can see exactly where the money goes.

3

Attach it to your application

Most grants ask for itemised quotes at application stage. We can give you two finishes (e.g. coloured CSBR and premium EPDM) so you can apply for the right amount.

4

We hold the price

If your application is still being assessed when the quote expires, ask us and we will re-issue it so your numbers still line up.

Typical budget guide: 15 mm coloured CSBR runs about $190–$290/m² ex GST over sound concrete. Fall-height depths of 40–60 mm under play equipment run about $335–$640/m², depending on rubber and size. Your itemised quote gives the exact figure.

Common questions

Can grant money be used for rubber soft fall?▼
Often, yes. Inclusion-focused grants usually cover accessible, level surfacing because loose fill like bark or sand is hard for wheelchairs, walkers and prams. Always read the current guidelines for the round you are applying to.
What do assessors want to see in a quote?▼
Clear line items, the area in square metres, the depth for each zone matched to equipment fall height, the finish, and a total ex and inc GST. Our quotes are laid out this way by default.
Is the impact test included?▼
We lay the depth to suit your fall heights, following AS 4422 guidance. A formal impact test is done by an independent testing company. We can help you arrange it and you can add it to your grant budget as a separate line.
How long does install take?▼
Most school and kinder playgrounds take 1–3 days, plus 24–48 hours before foot traffic. We usually book them into school holidays.
